
SPARK is a Netherlands-based NGO that supports ongoing processes of transition and reconstruction in
post-conflict societies, through the strengthening of educational and economic
institutions. For its “Southeast European
Business Start-up Network Project”, SPARK is currently recruiting short-term
experts for the following positions:
- International Project Evaluator (approx.
30 working days)
- Local Project Evaluators (Montenegro,
Macedonia, Serbia and B&H, approx. 7 working days per country)
- SME Policy/Legal & Regulatory Expert (approx. 20 working days)
- EU Trade Expert (approx.
10 working days)
Requirements for International and
Local Project Evaluators:
- University degree in
Economics, Business or related field
- Minimmum 5 years of
experience in SME development and/or entrepreneurship development
- Experience in evaluating
international development projects
- Knowledge of and
experience working in Southeast Europe
- Excellent communication
and (English language) report writing skills
- Excellent knowledge of
the local economic/business situation (local
evaluator only)
- Fluent in
Serbo-Croatian, Bosnian and/or Macedonian (local evaluator only)
Requirements for SME Policy/Legal & Regulatory
Expert:
- University Degree in
Economics, Law or other relevant field
- 5 years of experience in SME policy
and in legal/regulatory issues affecting SMEs;
- Working Experience in
SEE
- Good research skills,
demonstrated by contribution to previous publications
- Good written and verbal
(English) communication skills
Requirements for EU Trade Expert:
- University
Degree in Economics, Business, Law or other relevant field;
- 5
years of experience in international trade;
- Working
experience with EU institutions;
- Working
experience in economies in transition;
- Lobbying
